MEET BELLA
Isabella (Bella) Picard was a dominant force on the softball field—and an exceptional athlete across multiple sports. While playing at Blackstone Valley Tech, she became the nation’s #1 hitter with an astonishing .902 batting average and led the state in home runs. Bella went on to make history as the first female athlete from her program to compete at the Division I level, earning a full athletic scholarship to play for the Saint Joseph's Hawks softball. Her remarkable career earned national recognition from outlets such as ESPN, Sports Illustrated, and Bleacher Report, along with honors including ESPN Boston Preseason All-State First Team, MaxPreps Preseason All-American, MaxPreps Player of the Year, and NFCA Player of the Game recognition. Bella also made a nationally recognized comeback from a spinal cord injury she suffered on the field—demonstrating resilience at the highest level. Today, she is driven to transform young female softball players into confident, fierce, and unstoppable competitors, bringing firsthand experience, determination, and a deep understanding of what it takes to become the next standout athlete.
